Join us and be part of something bigger.As a Workday Extend Developer in Kainos, you’ll work as part of a team of Extend consultants on a project, supporting the successful delivery of extend applications for the cloud-based Workday system.With the support of more senior consultants, you’ll work to capture requirements, document, implement, deploy and support applications within a Workday Extend implementation project. You will develop and share expert knowledge of the Workday product and extend platform toolset, as well as HCM / Financials business domain knowledge.You’ll build strong relationships with our customers to understand their requirements, ensuring that the solution is aligned to their needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable. You’ll know when to appropriately escalate issues and seek support from your more experienced team members.MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:• Proficiency with XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, and be knowledgeable in an object oriented programming language (preferably J2EE).• Good understanding of cloud computing, web services and associated challenges.• Good customer focus, with some experience in a consulting or client facing environment.• Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility, including in a remote working situation. Proficient with use of English language.• Good commercial awareness and some understanding of project and business dynamics.• Attention to detai.l• Capable of working within (remote) teams and alongside customers, as well as on your individual tasks with limited supervision.• Ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines.• Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality and accuracy at all times.• Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times.• Willing to travel to work with customers on site and to collaborate with colleagues from other offices.DESIRABLE:• Workday HCM Certified, or experience with other similar HCM/ ERP systems.• Experience of designing workflows to solve business and technical problems.Embracing our differences At Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
