Finance AssistantFinance Assistant sought by a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide.The Role:Reporting to the Financial Controller, as a Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:Subsidiary accounting, involving a range of tasks from salaries, journals, accruals and prepayments, pension, reconciliations, TB, fixed assets and producing monthly accountsSubsidiary budgetingCashflow forecastingVAT reconciliationsFinancial accounts reconciliations and processes (such as BS, PL & GRNI rec etc)Financial accounting general enquiriesAudit assistance: year-end, interim and statutory audit, HMRC government audits and other audit requirementsYear End reporting and other adhoc reporting requirementsAnnual stock check attendanceTreasury cover: raising payments, inter-company netting, bank & group correspondence and bank reconciliationsThe successful Finance Assistant will demonstrate:Self-driven, friendly & a positive disposition, with a clear focus on high quality and delivering resultsAccuracy, attention to detail, excellent organisation skillsActively participates in team work to ensure organisational goals are metThe ability to prioritise own workload & multitaskPrevious accounting experience, AAT/CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalentComputer literate in all MS Office applicationsPrevious working knowledge of SAP and SAGE would be an advantageBenefits:£23,900 - £30,000 depending on experience32 days holidays including bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 2 years’ service50% hybrid over 2 week period after probation5 hours per weekFlexible hours (core hours 10am-3pm)Time off in lieuPension schemeAccess to benefits platformInternal and external training & development courses availableOption to buy and sell holidayCycle to Work schemeOnsite parkingFree flu jabsHealth & wellbeingEnhanced paternity pay after 2 yearsLong service awardsEmployee assistance programmeInternal training academyAccess to external training and supported educationSocial culture and eventsLocationRoss-on-Wye, HerefordshireSalary£23,900 - £30,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
