Job description Who We Are Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur is an iconic English football club, competing in the Premier League and Women’s Super League. From North London to the world, our fanbase spans continents, cultures, and generations. Spurs is a club that dares to push boundaries — breaking new ground and rewriting history. Our world‑class facilities include our state‑of‑the‑art Stadium, opened in 2019, and our Training Centre, both serving as hubs for excellence, innovation, and community regeneration. More than just football, we are a catalyst for opportunity, creating jobs, driving growth, and inspiring future generations. We’re at our brightest when we’re all together — our Club, our teams, our community. There is only one Hotspur. Tottenham Hotspur. The Role The Club is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Medical Team, working with the Women’s First Team and Academy squads. This role will form part of an innovative and collaborative medical team committed to delivering elite-level care, performance support, and rehabilitation services. You will work closely with players and staff across both the Women’s and Academy environments to ensure optimal preparation, treatment, and recovery standards are achieved. This position requires evening and Saturday availability, ideal for a practitioner passionate about working in elite women’s and youth football within a world‑class setup. Key Responsibilities Provide daily assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for players. Design and deliver individualised rehabilitation programmes, progressing players safely from injury back to full training. Support recovery sessions following training and matchdays. Provide matchday cover when required (including evenings and weekends). Maintain accurate medical records using the Club’s electronic notes system. Attend and contribute to daily or weekly medical meetings. Coordinate external appointments, including imaging and specialist consultations where required. Promote anti‑doping and safeguarding practices in line with Club and WADA policies. Collaborate effectively with coaches, sport scientists, nutritionists, psychologists, and doctors to optimise player health and performance. Personal Attributes A team player who is hard‑working, collaborative, and supportive of colleagues. Positive, reliable, and professional with a strong work ethic. Values and respects others, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Innovative thinker who contributes ideas for improvement and development. Highly motivated, organised, and committed to delivering the highest standards of care. Maintains strict confidentiality at all times. Punctual, proactive, and accountable. Skills and Experience BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (essential). HCPC and CSP registered (essential). Extensive CPD portfolio demonstrating ongoing professional development. ATMMiF qualification (desirable). Post‑graduate experience working in sporting or performance environments. Previous experience in football or another high‑performance sport preferred. Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles and return‑to‑play processes. Excellent communication skills with athletes, parents, and multidisciplinary staff. Experience supporting the physical development of youth and women’s players. Ability and willingness to work evenings and Saturdays, with flexibility for occasional travel as required. Valid UK driving licence preferred. The Tottenham Hotspur Way Our philosophy is to push harder, rise higher, and forge greater. We involve, inspire, and elevate one another to be our best selves — producing excellence both on and off the pitch. Every day brings an opportunity to improve and make the impossible possible. Our Responsibility to You Safeguarding is fundamental to everything we do. Successful candidates will be subject to background, DBS, and reference checks in line with Club policy. We welcome applications from all individuals regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or background. #J-18808-Ljbffr
