We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist Therapist to join our friendly, motivated and forward-thinking team.CHCP Yorkshire Fatigue ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) Service provides an assessment, diagnosis and treatment service across York, North Yorkshire, Lincs and North East Lincs.We are accepting applications from existing Band 6 Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists or Nurses, or experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists or Nurses who can demonstrate meeting the vacancy criteria and who have a good working knowledge of ME/CFS.This is a 15 hour per week 12 month temporary post - the hours of which can be worked flexibly across the working week (Mon-Fri, 9-5) to benefit the service and own home/work life balance. You will be keen to develop skills and knowledge and motivated to further your understanding of ME/CFS and related conditions.You will be committed to supporting the patient's skills and knowledge to enable them to best manage their conditions.You will value and engage with self and peer practice review and supervision in the maintenance of gold standard practice.CHCP Yorkshire Fatigue ME/CFS Service is committed to providing the highest quality of holistic care working in partnership with patients, their care givers and other health care providers. You will work well as an integrated member of a multi-disciplinary team as well as possessing the attributes required to work autonomously in managing your own workload.The role will be required to offer clinical peer support across the existing therapy provision to ensure that the service meets the service user needs in line with best practice, CQC standards and legislative frameworks.
