Radiographer – Temple B'nai Abraham We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Band 5 Radiographer to join our patient‑centred team at Royal Glamorgan Hospital and the satellite Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda. The Department has four general rooms, two CT scanners, two MRI scanners, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine and interventional departments. We have replaced all CR equipment with new Samsung DR units. Royal Glamorgan Hospital has a major accident and emergency unit and is a regional diagnostic hub, with a significant role in early diagnostics and ambulatory care. You will be involved in delivering the single cancer pathway where GP CXRs are hot‑reported, providing results to patients while they are in the department, reducing referral‑to‑treatment time. Responsibilities Perform all aspects of general radiography including X‑ray, fluoroscopy, theatre and mobile units, dental imaging, and non‑contrast CT studies. Work independently without direct supervision, reporting to the senior/Superintendent Radiographer. Adhere to Radiology guidelines and operating procedures. Participate in the Radiology Directorate shift system – a mix of 12‑hour day, night duties and 7.5‑hour shifts. Rotate between Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda and other sites within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as required. Maintain communication with staff across the Health Board to ensure safe patient care. Qualifications BSc (Hon) or DCR (R) in Diagnostic Radiography. Current HCPC registration at start date. Welsh language speaking & listening level 3 (CEFR B2) is desirable but not essential. For newly qualified Band 5 Radiographers – three‑month preceptorship programme to support transition.
