We are working with a large Tier 1 Contractor who will be delivering an exciting major infrastructure project well in excess of £100m.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day management of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.
  2. Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is carried out efficiently and safely.
  3. Monitor project progress, budgets, and resources, reporting to senior management and clients as required.
  4. Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to on-site.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
  6. Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  7. Ensure quality control measures are met and maintain accurate site documentation.
  8. Liaise with clients and provide regular project updates.

Requirements:

  1. Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Site Agent or in a similar managerial role within the civil engineering sector.
  3. Strong leadership and project management skills.
  4. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  5. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
  9. Full UK driving license.
