Sainsbury's-one of the UK's most loved retailers-is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Clerk to join our Operational Execution, Supply Chain & Logistics team at our Haydock distribution centre.

Your challenge is to carry out a variety of day-to-day clerical tasks across our Inventory and Warehouse operations, playing a critical part in maintaining our famously 'terrifically tight team'.

Your Key Responsibilities

Effective Stock Control: Being responsible for controlling stock effectively.

Liaison: Working with colleagues across the business to capture feedback on seasonal demand and prioritise customer need.

Data Management: Maintaining and collating accurate warehousing and inventory information.

Financial Tasks: Charging stock to stores and suppliers.

Inventory Activity: Carrying out inventory wholesale activity.

This is an interesting, varied, and vital role that underpins our customer promise.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You will need:

Warehouse Expertise: A good understanding of warehouse processes and warehouse flow, including location restrictions for products and weight-restricted items.

Systems Proficiency: Proficient using a range of office IT, including Microsoft programmes and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Prioritisation Skills: Used to planning and prioritising your workload to meet deadlines.

Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

Compliance: Awareness of health and safety regulations and relevant legislation.

Communication: Great at analysing, presenting, and sharing data and information and following clear procedures, guidelines, and instructions.

Position - Warehouse Clerk Location - Haydock Distribution Centre Shift - Nights Hours 22:00 - 06:00 Pay Rate - £15.85 per hour Start Date ASAP
