Electrical Tester Location : Midlands-based with travel across the UK; overnight stays occasionally required. Competitive Salary D.O.E + Van Overtime readily available About the Role Our esteemed client is seeking a skilled Electrical Tester to become an integral part of their Electrical Compliance team. This role involves performing electrical installations of low voltage wiring and containment systems, as well as testing and inspecting these installations. The position offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including training for Live Testing. Key Responsibilities Safely isolate existing live circuits following established procedures. Install various low voltage wiring and cable containment systems. Issue installation and condition reports. Test and energise systems up to 1000V, including new and modified electrical systems. Adhere to all operational procedures, safe working practices, and health & safety guidelines. Interpret electrical schematic diagrams and drawings accurately. Follow agreed schedules of work with clients. About You Proven experience in electrical installations and testing within process plant environments. Essential experience in the Manufacturing and Industrial sectors, particularly within food and beverage manufacturing facilities. Qualified with 2391 or 2394 / 5 certifications; knowledgeable in condition reporting. 18th Edition qualified. NVQ Level 3 qualification. Level 3 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations. Full UK Driving License. Experience with thermal imaging test equipment is advantageous but not essential.
