As the Clinical Coder / Summariser at Belgrave Medical Centre, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and accurate management of patient health records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organised, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical data quality.You will be responsible for reviewing, coding, and summarising patient information to ensure that electronic medical records are accurate, comprehensive, and up to date. This includes interpreting hospital correspondence, identifying relevant diagnoses and procedures, and applying appropriate clinical codes using SNOMED CT and other recognised coding systems.Your work will contribute directly to the delivery of safe and effective patient care, supporting clinicians in making informed decisions and ensuring compliance with QOF, enhanced services, and other NHS reporting requirements.At Belgrave Medical Centre, we value teamwork, professionalism, and a proactive approach. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate clinical documentation and coding of patient records, which supports patient care, audit, reporting, and funding.
