Across our core categories of Hygiene, Baby and Beauty, our trusted and well-loved brands include Carex, Childs Farm, Cussons Baby, Imperial Leather, Morning Fresh, Original Source, Premier, Sanctuary Spa and St. Tropez.Sustainability and the wellbeing of our employees and communities everywhere are at the heart of our business model and strategy, and captured by our purpose: **For everyone, for life, for good.**If you want to join a business in transformation with exciting growth plans and the opportunity to work flexibly and finish at 1pm every Friday, apply to work for us today.**Job Purpose:**This role develops and manages supply and production plans, optimises inventory levels, and coordinates with the wider supply chain team to ensure the right products are made at the right time, at the best cost.**Key KPIs:*** Casefill performance to customers* Inventory levels (Materials + Finished Goods)* Monthly reporting on over/unders, bridges with explanations for FG* Production schedule adherence* Factory > Warehouse Load Utilisation* Supply chain cost efficiency (including reduction of obsolete or excess stock)* NPD Launches on time in full* Cost + Process Efficiencies – Cost Conscious Culture (including reduction of obsolete or excess stock, Out of process Requests)* Agecroft Consensus Inputs* Minimising Excess Costs (e.g out of process requests)* NPD Launches on time in full, Seasonal Planning.**Function/Business Unit Overview:**This role sits within the PZ Supply Chain function, ultimately reporting to the Chief Supply Chain OfficerIt reports via the European Supply Chain Director, making up part of their European Supply Chain Team.**Key Duties and Responsibilities:*** **Supply Planning:** Develop and maintain short- and mediums-term supply plans based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory policies, utilising our SAP APO system.* **PPDS - Production Planning Detailed Scheduling:** Collaborate with production teams to create and adjust detailed production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely fulfilment of requirements.* **Inventory Management:** Monitor inventory levels finished goods; identify and address potential shortages or excesses; implement actions to minimise obsolescence and working capital.* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with demand planners, procurement, logistics, and customer service teams to align supply plans with business objectives and market needs.* **KPI Monitoring & Reporting:** Track and report on key performance indicators, including those listed in Job Purpose above.* **Risk Management:*** Proactively identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruption to production and customer deliveries.* Forward Planning for Overtime, Capacity Management, Downtime Trackers, Run Rate Reviews.Get buy in / Alignment from Operations to minimise overtime.* Review with Supply Planning Manager the Supply Chain ABCDs Quarterly. Adjust safety stocks + production campaigning strategies in response to regular reviews with Demand Planners. Ensure plans operate within min/max stock tramlines.* **Continuous Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness.* **System Maintenance:** Maintain accurate planning data in ERP and planning systems; ensure timely updates to reflect changes in demand, supply, or production constraints* **Logistics:** Factory clearance + load utilisation of shunts and pallet replenishment, escalation of issues in a timely manner including root cause investigation**Equal Opportunities:**At PZ Cussons, we value diversity and make sure everyone feels included.
