Solution Developer – Workflow Design Studio Full-time Employee Type: Regular Region: EMEA - Europe, Middle East and Africa Work Persona: Flexible It all started in sunny San Diego, California in 2004 when a visionary engineer, Fred Luddy, saw the potential to transform how we work. Fast forward to today — ServiceNow stands as a global market leader, bringing innovative AI‑enhanced technology to over 8,100 customers, including 85% of the Fortune 500®. Our intelligent cloud‑based platform seamlessly connects people, systems, and processes to empower organizations to find smarter, faster, and better ways to work. But this is just the beginning of our journey. Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone. The Workflow Design Studio is ServiceNow’s cross‑functional team that partners with strategic customers to imagine, prototype, and redefine the future of work. We combine human‑centred design, lean innovation, and rapid prototyping to help customers see what’s possible on the ServiceNow platform. We move fast, experiment boldly, and co‑create solutions that inspire transformation. As a Solution Developer in the Workflow Design Studio, you’ll be the technical maker who turns ideas into reality. You’ll work as part of an autonomous, cross‑functional squad, collaborating closely with Designers and Architects to rapidly prototype and iterate solutions that bring our customers’ ambitions to life, turning ambiguous ideas into tangible prototypes that make the future state real. You’ll blend creativity, curiosity, and technical excellence to push the boundaries of what’s possible with ServiceNow, often exploring AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to prove new ideas and spark meaningful change. Key Responsibilities: Prototype working concepts on the ServiceNow Platform to validate ideas with customers in short timeboxed engagements. Collaborate with Designers and Architects to turn human insights into functional, elegant solutions. Experiment with new capabilities, integrations, and emerging technologies (AI, LLMs, automation) to explore what’s possible with our technology. Support workshops and co‑creation sessions by developing demo‑ready components. Present prototypes and explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Continuously learn, share, and contribute to evolving Studio methods, tools, and accelerators. Required Skills & Experience: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision‑making, or problem‑solving. This may include using AI‑powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI‑driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. Hands‑on experience building on ServiceNow with strong scripting and debugging skills. Familiarity with low‑code/no‑code platforms and agile development practices. A maker mindset, you love experimenting, learning fast, and showing ideas through working solutions. Comfortable working in an autonomous Squad, able to manage your own priorities while staying aligned with team goals and maintaining open communication, especially under pressure. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in fast‑paced, collaborative environments. Ability to simplify complex challenges, make sound trade‑offs, and build quickly based on feedback. Passion for emerging technologies and customer‑centric innovation. Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills. Experience in rapid prototyping or design‑led development environments. Exposure to Gen AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation platforms. Understanding of lean innovation and human‑centred design principles. A portfolio, GitHub repo, or demo that showcases your creative technical work. Occasional travel may be required (up to 25%) for customer workshops and team collaboration. We approach our distributed world of work with flexibility and trust. Work personas (flexible, remote, or required in office) are categories that are assigned to ServiceNow employees depending on the nature of their work and their assigned work location. Learn more here. To determine eligibility for a work persona, ServiceNow may confirm the distance between your primary residence and the closest ServiceNow office using a third‑party service.
