As a CHAPS, you will play a fundamental and integral role in supporting the nursing team in delivering the highest quality, personalized care to the residents. You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day nursing needs of the residents, allowing the nurses to focus on the more complex nursing requirements.Main dutiesThe Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAPS) role involves collaborating with the nursing team to support and assist with the day-to-day nursing needs of the residents. You will help maintain the identity and dignity of the residents, while also working closely with colleagues, family members, and external professionals to ensure the residents receive the best possible care.
