HSSU Coordinator – Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital Our Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU) plays a vital role in transporting sterile and disinfected surgical equipment to the local hospital network. As an HSSU Coordinator at our Brentwood Hospital, you’ll combine basic computer literacy with strong organisational skills. From processing used surgical instruments for dispatch to receiving sterile surgical equipment and supporting our friendly theatre team – you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities Move and handle trays and items of various weights and sizes Maintain accurate records and keep documentation up to date Dispose of contaminated waste in accordance with hospital policy Regularly check that equipment is in good working order and report all faults Maintain a clean and tidy working environment Take action to rectify any problems and escalating issues where necessary Benefits We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
