ROLE SUMMARY Associate – Full‑time / Permanent. Global – Full remote. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Engage with the global community of retail decision makers at C&D level and enroll them as fully hosted buyers (travel and accommodation expenses covered) for our four premium events in Europe, US, Asia and MEA, to have 1:1 meetings with our sponsors across the supply chain industry. Provide full VIP delegate support from onboarding to meeting scheduling to travel coordination. Post‑show, follow up with both sponsors and VIP retailers to ensure that business opportunities generated onsite convert into actual partnerships and maximize sponsors’ ROI. Split role 50% delegate acquisition and 50% account management (delegates & sponsors). Proactively self‑source and convert your delegate pipeline across geographies while ensuring strict quality criteria are met (delegate seniority, company size, delegate geography, delegate novelty and good match with sponsors’ services). Reach company sales activity targets via extensive daily call time and significant number of weekly phone conversations. Ensure accurate and timely update of the CRM and daily pipeline reporting. Build and sustain long‑lasting relationships with the global retail community. Assist delegates in travel arrangement, refunds and scheduling of 1:1 meetings with their best‑matched vendors via our in‑house developed registration and matchmaking platform. Work alongside delegates and sponsors to track contracts generated through our inter‑mediation and ensure that delegates remain responsive to sponsors who showed interest. Collaborate with the Sales team, Marketing, Content and Operations teams to deliver a seamless and impactful event experience. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 1 to 3 years of experience in delegate sales or account management ideally in events with VIP delegates, or in recruitment of executives in B2B sales. Native or bilingual proficiency in English. Comfortable in international environments and at ease with C&D‑level people with a good understanding of social etiquette. Strong communicator & people person; dynamic with high positive energy; enthusiastic about outbound calls and allocating substantial time for meaningful phone conversations every day. Results‑driven, organised and able to prioritise workload with competing priorities and deadlines. High ability in rigorously using CRM systems (daily updates, workflows and reports). Experienced in using LinkedIn and B2B lead generation solutions. High‑speed cable internet access in a quiet workspace. Open and eligible to travel globally several weeks per year. PACKAGE & OTHER BENEFITS £30,000 base salary + uncapped quarterly commissions + up to 30% on‑target bonus. Fully remote work, 35 hours a week: 09:00 – 17:00 UK time, Monday‑Friday.
