We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our site in Lutterworth. You will lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture. This is a full-time, permanent position with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 18:00 Pay, benefits and more We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,500 per annum, and 20 days annual leave inclusive bank holidays. You’ll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more What you’ll do on a typical day You’ll operate as a working team member and conduct tasks in all areas of the warehouse Ensure that they and individuals within their team comply with working practices that result in delivering a clean and safe workplace Providing focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality by helping to lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily targets for each shift Monitor progress and performance against key performance indicators and costs against budget What you need to succeed at GXO Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes and health and safety E xperience working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment The ability to work on your own initiative, whilst effectively leading a team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
