What You’ll Do You’ll assess and work therapeutically with children, young people and their families, offering individual, family and group interventions based on their presenting needs. You’ll deliver outcome‑focused guided self‑help and CBT‑based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing difficulties. You’ll develop shared goals with young people, families and networks, and work collaboratively with colleagues and multi‑agency partners to support casework. You’ll provide advice, guidance, training and signposting to young people, families and professionals to connect them with appropriate wellbeing resources. You’ll contribute to group work delivery, risk assessment, safeguarding, record‑keeping, and ongoing evaluation to support a high‑quality, evidence‑informed service. What you’ll bring Experience of working therapeutically with children and young people in school or community settings, including delivering structured interventions and using routine outcome measures. Training or education in psychology or a related mental health discipline that enables the delivery of evidence‑based interventions (e.g., CWP/EMHP or equivalent). You’ll need the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively about complex issues, both verbally and in writing, with families, schools and professionals. Strong organisational skills, including managing a caseload, prioritising competing demands, and maintaining accurate, confidential clinical records. You should be confident working cross‑culturally, applying an inclusive and anti‑discriminatory approach to practice, and demonstrating a strong understanding of safeguarding and child‑protection requirements. Key details Hours: Full‑time: usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00‑17:00. Flexible working is possible 09:00‑17:00. Salary: £31,200 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme. Location: Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0JF, Brent community sites and occasionally at Anna Freud, 4‑8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH. There will also be remote working.
