SEND Teaching Assistant - Full Time - Budleigh SaltertonLocation:Budleigh Salterton, DevonPay: £90-£100 per dayContract: Full-time (Monday-Friday, term time)We are looking for a caring and motivated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a specialist school setting in East Devon. The school provides education for children and young people aged 3-19 with a wide range of complex learning difficulties, including:Severe and moderate learning difficulties (SLD/MLD)Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Communication and interaction needsSensory and physical needsSocial, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challengesThe setting offers a nurturing, inclusive and creative environment where every learner is encouraged to achieve their potential through personalised learning, therapeutic support and hands-on experiences.The Role:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:Support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 or small group basisAssist the class teacher with engaging lesson activitiesHelp implement individual education and behaviour plans (IEPs/IBPs)Encourage communication, independence and confidence in learnersWork collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staffAbout You:Passionate about supporting children with SENDPatient, empathetic and resilientAble to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staffExperienced in, or eager to learn about, working with children with additional needsReliable, flexible, and dedicated to making a differenceExperience in a SEND or care environment is desirable but not essential - full training and ongoing support are provided through Teaching Personnel.Why Work with Teaching Personnel?Competitive daily pay (£90-£100, depending on experience)Continuous professional development and training opportunitiesA dedicated consultant specialising in SEND placement #J-18808-Ljbffr
