You should possess excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills, along with a passion for food and service and enthusiasm for the role.Collaborate with the back-of-house team to develop well-balanced, nutritious menus catering to diverse dietary needs.Manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.Build strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty members.Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff.Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and operational improvement.Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.QualificationsProven experience as a Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.Experience in managing, training, and supporting a team.Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and driving performance.Strong coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Solution-oriented mindset to adapt to challenges and opportunities.Strategic thinking and critical reasoning abilities.Additional InformationHolroyd Howe is a leading UK contract caterer specializing in services for independent schools and colleges.
