About The Role Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a MI Analyst to join our team in Bristol on a full‑time, permanent basis. Joining the Vehicle Remarketing Department (VRM) of the UK’s largest vehicle leasing company, this role will provide insights and reporting to help identify opportunities to improve the resale values of the 225k ex‑lease cars sold back into the used car market each year. We are looking for someone with experience in a MI Analyst role to provide management information (MI) and insight to support Vehicle Remarketing (VRM) in improving performance against key metrics. In this role, you will: Consistently monitor performance and proactively search for opportunities for improvement Develop a strong understanding of the reporting needs of individual areas within VRM Provide engaging self‑service solutions to your customers About You You have experience in a MI Analyst role, with experience of working with data visualisation tools. You should be comfortable dealing with large data sets and able to understand stakeholder requirements to provide tangible MI solutions and insight. You have a strong focus on detail, ensuring that your work is technically accurate, efficient, and clear to understand. Minimum criteria: Prior experience in a data analysis role, providing insights and analysis to multiple stakeholders or business areas Experience building complex data sets to generate data visualisations and analysis, along with experience of using SQL to drive insight and reporting outcomes Training and professional experience using data visualisation tools, such as Oracle Analytics (OAS), to build complex and interactive dashboards and reporting suites. Experience working closely with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs, identify requirements, and clearly and confidently presenting back insights and outcomes. Prior experience working effectively within a larger data analysis team, collaborating effectively with team members and sharing best practices. Track record of successfully building and managing stakeholder relationships, developing an understanding of their business needs and pro‑actively identifying opportunities for support.
