Bank Catering Assistant – Rivers Hospital – Bank Hours We are currently looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our Bank. Job Description You will be part of a team who ensures the preparation and delivery of a food and beverage service to patients. As a Catering Assistant you will be responsible for the service of all food and drink to the patients on the wards, including managing dietary requirements. Additional tasks will consist of washing cutlery, replenishing hot drink machines, and explaining the daily menus across all meals. You will work within a team of Catering Assistants who are fundamental in ensuring that all work is carried out in a hygienic and methodical manner and that standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital are in line with our policies. Who We're Looking For Ideally you are an experienced Catering Assistant from a healthcare or similar industry with demonstrable experience in a customer‑facing environment. You have proven experience of assisting within a catering setting and can work on your own initiative. You demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to customer service and possess strong communication skills.
