Role Details We're seeking a seasoned Commissioning Director to lead end-to-end commissioning efforts on a high-profile nuclear infrastructure project. This strategic role drives technical readiness, operational handover, and compliance excellence-from design through delivery. Key Responsibilities Commissioning Leadership : Own the full commissioning life cycle, aligning with project disciplines and project goals. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with clients, design partners, and site operators to ensure seamless delivery. Regulatory Governance : Ensure nuclear safety compliance and secure necessary approvals. Project Execution : Drive planning and execution within scope, budget, and quality standards. Team Management : Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team with a focus on safety and collaboration. Operational Transition : Guide handover to operations, including procedural development and operator training. Continuous Improvement : Implement process enhancements and stay aligned with industry best practices. Reporting & Documentation : Maintain detailed commissioning records and provide timely progress reports. Key Requirements Strong leadership and project management abilities. In-depth knowledge of nuclear safety regulations and commissioning processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Minimum of 10 years' experience in commissioning within the nuclear sector, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, nuclear or a related field. NEBOSH certification or nuclear safety-specific training Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 (optional but advantageous). Why Join Us?
