Smiles for Sibs Sessional Playworker: Bracknell Average 2 hours per week. Club hours 4:30pm – 6:15pm Thursdays (term time) plus setting up and clearing away. Location: Braybrooke Community Hall, Makepiece road, Bracknell, RG42 2HG or other locations including at home as required. Salary: £7.55 per hour (for 16–18-year-olds). Reporting to: Wokingham Smiles for Sibs Coordinator (directly) & the Chief Executive. Purpose of the role To assist in the provision of activities for children aged 8-13 in a safe and stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities Ensure adequate supervision of activities. Help set up the room and tidy away at the end of the session. Support all aspects of Promise Inclusion’s policies on Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding Children. Be aware of and meet the needs of individual children. Maintain communication with parents and carers. Any other duties as required. Skills & Experience Required Self‑motivated, able to work on own initiative. Good communicator. Understanding of (and commitment to meeting) the needs of people with learning disability and their families. Experience of working with children. Good team player. Empathy with client group.
