We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced nurse, who is passionate and interested in working in an Acute inpatient mental services for patients. You must be able to work flexibly and willing to adapt with the changing needs of our services. The post will require a high level of teamwork as well as a degree of autonomous working. Overview The inpatient unit is situated at the Mental Health Unit, Claybrook Road, Hammersmith. The ward team is a multi-disciplinary mental health team that aims to provide a safe and effective clinical assessment and treatment service for patients requiring acute mental health treatment in hospital informally or under a Section of the Mental Health Act. Responsibilities Work closely with the Ward manager and Clinical Team Leaders to provide safe, effective and high quality care for adult patients with mental health needs. Ensure the delivery of high quality and effective nursing care to mental health service users receiving inpatient and/or community services within a service area, in accordance with the objectives and vision of the Trust. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and multi-agency frameworks to deliver comprehensive care. Qualifications Professional nursing registration. Experience of working within mental health services and within a multidisciplinary team and multi-agency frameworks. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of our services.
