Art Technician – Full-time, long-term temporary cover starting January 2026 and ongoingThe school provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where pupils feel safe and supported. Prepare and organise materials and resources for Art lessons
Maintain and manage Art equipment and ensure a safe working environment
Assist teachers in setting up practical activities and demonstrations
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as required
Support pupils during practical sessions where appropriate
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the Art department
Contribute to the smooth running of the Art departmentIdeal Art Technician:
Previous experience working in an Art department or similar role is desirable
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and pupils
Knowledge of health and safety procedures in an educational setting
Creative and practical skills to support Art activities
