Department: Academic/Bath Spa University partnership (BSU) Location: Leeds (On‑Site) Salary: £51,000 Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) Position Overview Lecturer in Management teaching across undergraduate levels within the BSc (Hons) Project Management programme. The role requires flexibility for weekday, evening and weekend teaching. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess all student work ensuring learning outcomes are met. Develop and update course materials continuously. Use a range of learning and teaching methods and materials. Participate in staff development, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Keep up to date with developments in the field and student support practices. Work towards defined objectives for student attendance, progression and satisfaction. Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the broader subject area. Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Accurate reporting skills and ability to maintain thorough, organised student records. Capacity to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probation and complete within three years). Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent). Experience designing or developing academic or professional education programmes.
