We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Care Assistants to be part of the care team looking after our residential and dementia residents. Full time hours are available with the flexibility to cover both day and night shifts. Responsibilities Provide high quality care to residential and dementia residents. Support the care team and promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times. Supervise and mentor care assistants. Administer medication (with relevant qualification). Qualifications NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) and sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards. Supervisory experience. Medication administration experience and relevant qualification. At least 2 years previous experience working with older people and those who experience dementia; prior experience as a Senior Care Assistant is desirable. Person Specification Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids. Team player, self‑motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable. Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
