You are passionate evangelists for Web technologies as well as vocal champions for developer interests. This is a position for engineers who love connecting with developers and speaking publicly about cutting-edge technologies on conference panels, at user groups, on blogs and with the press with a focus on HTML5, advanced Web technologies, and technologies specific to mu clients web browser and ecosystem.You also act as a conduit for 3rd party developers to the product team.Some indicative tasksWork within browser team to lead technical communityPlan and execute events both internal and external (including developer events / hacks)Write and edit blog postsWork with external bloggers and podcastersWrite software that demonstrates use of browser featuresCommunity managementLiaising with other similar efforts and with the web developer community at largeSkills and attributesBA / BS in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experienceWeb development experience in JavaScript, HTML, Web APIs, the development toolchain and related technologiesTrack record in web software development, such as development of tools and librariesExperience working in open source projectsExperience working with web standards and emerging web technologiesRelevant work experience, including experience working directly with partnersExperience blogging and writing technical articles with an existing follower base, as well as experience working directly with press and bloggers #J-18808-Ljbffr
