We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Leicestershire Adult Eating Disorder Service. The post is based at Forest Grange, Bennion Centre, Leicester. The team has been providing high quality care for over 30 years, assessing and delivering individual care plans through evidence‑based interventions and strong therapeutic relationships. Clinical associate psychologists are a key part of our multi‑professional team, working alongside clinical psychologists, psychology assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, dietitians, and research staff. Teamwork and collaboration are highly valued and encouraged. Experience working with people with an eating disorder will be a particular strength, but we can offer development opportunities for those with limited experience. Contact: Nicola Brewin, Family Services Manager, nicola.brewin@nhs.net, 0116 225 2557 Responsibilities Work with service users to develop a shared understanding of their eating disorder and its impact on mental and physical health through assessment and formulation. Under the supervision of qualified clinical psychologists deliver psychological interventions such as CBT guided self‑help, CBT and other suitable therapy models. Manage own caseload and provide high standard care on a one‑to‑one basis and in group settings. Participate in the weekly CPD programme, including access to a range of internal and external speakers. Contribute to research and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Requirements A full UK driving licence and access to a car during working hours is required for this role.
