If you love turning ideas into impactful solutions and thrive at the intersection of technology and business, this is your chance to make a big impact.📅Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pmStart date: January 2026This role is a UK based role and any hybrid/remote work must also be within the UK.🌟For this role, you need 5mbps upload and 15mbps download internet speed🌟Private medical insurance for individualWe offer you discounts on groceries, shopping, holidays, insurance, days out, restaurants and more24/7 employee assistance programme with an easily accessible appFamily and friends’ discounts on our services & productsPension Scheme, up to 4% Company matchedFree on-site parkingWhat We’re Looking ForExperience (Essential):5+ years in technical product management, technical writing, or project management, ideally with SaaS products and servicesStrong understanding of both software/cloud (logical) and hardware (physical) product development, including systems integration and lifecycle managementProven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and MarketingFamiliarity with UI/UX principles and post-launch product management (updates, returns, maintenance)Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related technical fieldSkills & Knowledge:Technical Writing: Ability to produce clear, detailed specifications and requirementsTechnical Expertise:Cloud service models and deployment patterns (AWS preferred)SIP/VoIP protocols and performance considerationsAPI-based architecture, microservices, and distributed systemsCollaboration: Skilled at working across departments to deliver cohesive productsProject Management: Experience with full product lifecycle, Agile/DevOps, and tools like Jira or ConfluenceCustomer Focus: Understanding of scalability, supportability, and user needsProblem Solving: Strong analytical skills for risk identification and mitigationPersonal Attributes:Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesProactive, solution-focused, and passionate about delivering high-quality productsTHE ROLEThis role is responsible for defining and managing technical specifications for software and hardware products throughout their lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign logical products (software), including data models, APIs, UI/UX requirements, cloud deployment considerations, and security/resilience standardsDefine architectural requirements for high-availability communication systems (e.g., SIP/VoIP)Design physical products with user-focused criteria, hardware component preferences, firmware specifications, and maintainability conceptsIdentify failure modes, set test criteria, and manage feasibility assessmentsDrive implementation of new products and services and improve existing onesTechnical Specifications & FeasibilityTechnical Specifications: Define detailed specifications for software, cloud services, and hardware products, covering architecture, APIs, UI/UX, security, resilience, and performance requirementsWork with engineering teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure designs for high-availability systemsPhysical Product Design: Specify hardware components, firmware requirements, and user-focused design principles, including maintainability and safety standardsFeasibility Assessment: Lead technical and operational feasibility studies, evaluate risks, and ensure readiness for support, monitoring, and resilience before launchFailure Mode & Risk Management: Work with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and mitigate risks early in the product lifecycleEngineering Collaboration: Partner with cloud, voice, and software teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient designs, including monitoring, failover, and performance KPIsCyber Security: Embed best practices for IAM, encryption, and network security;
