Join to apply for the Electrical Shift Technician role at Northwood. We are seeking a skilled electrical & instrumentation technician or engineer to join our well‑established tissue paper manufacturing facility. This role is critical in implementing condition‑based maintenance programs and maximizing the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and processes. The essence of this role is electrical maintenance and fault‑finding, as well as basic mechanical PPM, CIL, and troubleshooting. The shift pattern is 4 on / 4 off (7 repetitions), followed by an 18‑day break. This consists of 2 days and 2 nights per rotation. About The Role Day‑to‑day duties include: Perform electrical maintenance on plant equipment, including motors, drives, and control panels. Use your electrical and instrumentation expertise to troubleshoot and fix faults on Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Plan, schedule, and perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime. Assist with basic mechanical tasks such as replacing belts, bearings, and seals. Collaborate with the onsite mechanical team for major mechanical work such as MIG/TIG welding.
