Our support packages are designed to meet individual needs offering wraparound, 24/7 support with staffing ratios ranging from 2:1 up to 6:1, depending on each young person’s circumstances. This is a rewarding and flexible role, ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a real difference. 💛 What You’ll Do Create a safe, stable, and supportive environment for children and young people in crisis. Support daily routines from meal preparation to maintaining a tidy home. Encourage engagement in education, hobbies, and community activities that promote growth and confidence. Support medical appointments and community activities. Use your own vehicle to transport young people when needed. Help them move forward with confidence into their next chapter. Requirements 🌈 What We’re Looking For We welcome applicants from all backgrounds Whether you’ve worked in care before or are looking to start a new, meaningful career. What matters most is your heart, resilience, and ability to connect with young people. You’ll need : A flexible approach (waking nights, weekends, and sleep‑ins when required) A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and business insurance. An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS) and full Right to Work in the UK. Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary) A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
