Attractive starting salary package circa with OTE £45k minimum in your first year Overtime paid at time and a half over a 40-hour week Door to door payments Bonus scheme Company van and fuel card, with the option for private use 25 days annual leave Company pension scheme World-class specialist product training Full forklift driver licence Buddy support system in place Company laptop and phone In-boot overnight parts deliveries PPE and uniform supplied Uniform cleaning service Responsibilities Reporting to the Service Manager you will be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites within your postcode area. You will be working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas, and electric trucks. Managing your own work in progress, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites. Requirements NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential - Certificates will be required. Will consider experienced FLT Engineer, Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, HGV Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Roadside Recovery. Technical experience in engines, electrics (diagnostics) or hydraulics. IT literate and be comfortable with using the latest technology.
