We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Thornton (FY5) seeking a full-time Behaviour Mentor. This role is ideal for someone who can build trust, encourage positive choices, and make a lasting impact on pupils’ lives. Provide 1:1 and small group support to keep pupils engaged in learning Implement positive behaviour strategies to guide and motivate children Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to maintain a safe, structured environment Be a consistent, caring adult that pupils can rely on every day Calm under pressure with a natural ability to show empathy Confident supporting children with behavioural or emotional needs Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Experience in education, youth work, or care (desirable but not essential) Competitive daily pay rates Access to ongoing training in behaviour management and SEN support Opportunities to progress into pastoral, SEN, or teaching roles A dedicated consultant and a school that values your contribution Ready to make a real difference?
