We work hard to ensure our warehouse operatives receive work patterns 6 - 13 weeks in advance, giving you bags of time to plan time with your family and friends.We have roles in the following areas;Areas and responsibilitiesDespatch – load pre packed individual plastic boxes of shopping (we call them totes) into frames to be loaded into delivery vans; sort and organise totes coming back to site. This is a physical role as some boxes can be heavy.Pick – pickers focus on attention to detail, picking and packing customer orders into shopping totes to ensure goods reach customers in tip‑top condition; over 9.5 million items per week in Dordon alone.Inbound – quality assurance: receive goods from suppliers, check condition and place into totes so that pickers can do their jobs.Ambients and chilled areas – work across both ambient and chilled environments (0–5℃).Freezer – work in a large freezer at temperatures up to -25℃. Full thermal gear provided.Food Shopping Never Stops, so we operate a 24‑hour warehouse with a busy environment. Shifts include day and night rotations to suit different schedules:Daytime Pickers/Freezer Operatives – 4:30 – 14:30 (4 days)Night time Pickers/Freezer Operatives – 18:35 – 04:35 (4 nights)Daytime Despatch Operative – 06:00 – 16:00 (4 days)Night time Despatch Operatives – 20:05 – 06:05 (4 nights)Days Inbound – 08:00 – 19:00 (4 days)Nights Inbound – 19:00 – 06:00 (4 nights)In Return We OfferA starting salary of £12.36 per hour, with a night shift premium (00:00–06:00) of £2.67 per hour and a Freezer Premium of £0.90 per hour. Overtime is paid at a basic rate of 1.25x.
