What you will do: Conduct specialist and urgent mental health assessments, including evaluating risk, self-harm, and crisis situations for children and young people. Develop, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, groups, or families, using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and family therapy. Manage medium-to-high-risk caseloads, ensuring thorough safety and risk management plans are in place to secure the wellbeing of clients. Provide professional and clinical supervision to junior clinicians, trainees, or students, while deputising for team leaders or managers when required. Participate in and contribute to service improvements, governance, audits, and research projects to elevate the quality of care provided. Liaise and collaborate effectively with various services including schools, social services, primary care, and the voluntary sector, ensuring a coordinated approach to client care. Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, maintaining professional registration and accurate clinical documentation.
