OverviewJoin us for the Sommelier role at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, within the Dinner by Heston Blumenthal team.Position: Sommelier (Dinner by Heston Blumenthal) - 46 to 48 hours per week, 3 doubles and 2 single shifts. Shifts include mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays on a rotating basis.ResponsibilitiesDisplay excellent wine knowledge and be able to recommend and match appropriate wines with the chosen foodOrganisation and maintenance of the wine list and the cellarTraining and supporting Commis SommelierEnsuring all beverages are correctly posted through InfrasysQualificationsWine and food knowledge with a strong understanding of fine dining restaurant service stepsPrevious experience as a Commis Sommelier or SommelierShift patternRotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 46-48 hours per week.
