About The Role Join our team in Hereford as a Maintenance Engineer and take pride in being part of something meaningful Responsibilities Perform maintenance on CNC and manual machinery used in steelwork fabrication. Support operations through general maintenance tasks across the plant. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Work under electrical and mechanical permit systems, following approved safe systems of work. Respond to breakdowns and carry out proactive maintenance as directed by Team Leads and the Fabrication Manager. Conduct weekly legionella testing audits. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to risk assessments and work instructions. Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance on boiler systems. Who we’re looking for We’re seeking a proactive and safety-conscious individual with a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background. Experience with CNC machinery and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement are essential. The Following Skills And Experience Are Essential Experience using CNC milling to make tooling for production use. Experience with overhead crane and plant operation. Experience with forklift truck and telehandler operations. NVQ Level 3 in electrical system and equipment. NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance and installation. 18th edition wiring regulations. ESSW and MSSW awareness training. PAT qualification. Asbestos awareness and fire marshall training. First aid at work certification.
