We are seeking an ICT Training Officer to deliver engaging and innovative ICT and digital learning solutions that support staff development, digital literacy, and organisational transformation. Pay and Location Salary: £37,280 to £39,152 per annum + benefits. Location: Service Headquarters, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire (SA31). Job type: Full‑time, permanent. Working hours: 37 hours per week with flexible hours under the Service’s flexi‑time scheme. This job is known as an ICT Training Officer within the organisation. Job Overview As an ICT Training Officer / Digital Learning Officer & Instructor, you will design and facilitate learning across multiple formats (classroom, virtual, digital) to ensure all employees can effectively use the Service’s technology and systems. Duties Design and deliver ICT and digital learning courses, workshops, and resources. Promote digital confidence and inclusion among staff. Produce training guides, e‑learning materials, and instructional videos. Facilitate in‑person and virtual learning sessions using modern training tools. Develop quizzes and tests to evaluate staff learning and competence. Collaborate with ICT, HR, and Training teams to align learning delivery. Review and refresh training materials to ensure ongoing relevance. Train staff on new software, systems, and digital tools introduced by the Service. Promote cyber security, GDPR, and safe data handling within all ICT training. Candidate Requirements Essential: Previous experience in ICT or digital skills training delivery. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to produce engaging and accessible learning materials. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other ICT applications. Excellent organisational and time‑management skills. Full UK driving licence. Desirable: Teaching, training, or digital learning qualification. Experience using e‑learning authoring tools or video editing software. Knowledge of blended learning and online facilitation techniques. Welsh language skills (verbal and/or written).
