Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Morning & Afternoon; potential for night shifts with notice)

Salary - £20.27 per hour while training and then £23.31 per hour rational shifts

What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:
Perform final inspection of precision sheet metal components.
Interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions.
Verify compliance with quality standards, including:
Visual inspection and dimensional checks using precision tools.
Material traceability and serialization.
Completion of quality documentation and system transactions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, TPM, quality clinics).
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace.
Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.What You’ll Bring:
Experience in sheet metal fabrication, machining, and quality inspection.
Ability to work independently in a medium-volume production environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and basic PC literacy.Essential:

Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline.
Proficiency with precision tools (e.g., Vernier calipers, digital gauges).
Demonstrated inspection experience.Desirable:

Background in aerospace, motorsport, or similar industries.Personal Attributes:
Highly motivated, flexible, and calm under pressure.
Quality-focused and able to support technical discussions.
Team-oriented with cross-functional collaboration skills.Security Clearance:This role may involve access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory security checks and compliance with applicable regulations.
