Academy Administrator (Fixed Term Contract) Location: Chesterfield Working days: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (occasionally weekend). Salary: £23,400 per annum. Job Summary Learning Curve Group (LCG) is a national training and education specialist. In this role you will support the administrative functions within our beauty academy, monitoring learner attendance, liaising with tutors and learners, and ensuring resources are available for course completion. Key Responsibilities Support the Academy Manager and Business Development Officer with enrolment and onboarding of new learners. Process learner paperwork. Assist learners with financial support applications. Resolve learner queries by collecting, checking and chasing evidence; invigilate exams when instructed. Manage front‑desk reception duties. Complete finance tasks as required. Oversee academy inventory, perform stock checks and support procurement (raise purchase orders). Report property issues via FixFlo to the property team. Collate health and safety forms for work placements. Maintain health and safety and first aid training. Collect and manage job outcomes evidence. Support other academies when requested by the business. Handle course enquiries and signpost to the business development team. Contact potential learners to arrange course interviews, inductions and enrolments. Monitor learner attendance with tutors and the academy manager. Maintain learner data and systems with the MIS team. Generic Duties Act in line with company values and expected behaviours. Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity. Provide learners, customers and colleagues with support, advice and guidance. Required Experience and Skills Previous experience in an admin/office role. Experience of MIS systems (desirable). Good level of Maths & English. Strong work ethic and committed attitude. Ability to work fast‑paced, with or without direct supervision. Proficient IT skills: word processing, Excel, presentations. Strong organisational and time‑management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications and Education Interpersonal communication skills. Attendance record and ability to work as part of a team. Vocational qualification (Level 2). Working Conditions 9‑month fixed‑term contract. Working hours Monday‑Friday 09:00‑17:00.
