ARE YOU A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT?

Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established, global manufacturer who are market leading in their industry. They offer state of the art working facilities, a varied role and a good team environment.

The role would suit Maintenance Engineers transferring from ANY manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate would be multi-skilled, with both mechanical and electrical engineering skills. However, either an electrical or mechanical bias will be considered. Maintenance Engineers must be apprentice trained or equivalent as a minimum. Engineers with experience working in a plastics extrusion or plastics injection mould environment will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working alongside a team of other engineers, you will be responsible for the reactive and predictive maintenance on site. This will involve fault finding and repair on equipment like extrusion lines, moulding machines, and ancillary equipment. You will also be responsible for participating in site improvement and reliability initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable company who supply to a wide range of industries. They offer training and development opportunities and truly invest in their employees.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a Mechanical, Electrical or Multiskilled Engineer
  2. Ideally from a Manufacturing environment
  3. Experience working in the plastic industry is highly desirable but not essential
  4. Will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent but other qualifications or experience would be considered.
