Job Title: Principal Systems EngineerLocation: Coventry. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.Salary: Negotiable, depending on experienceWhat you’ll be doing:Responsible for process and governance advice and support across engineering in all phases of the engineering lifecycleDeliver appropriate technical solutions against functional and business requirements and regulations both for process development, communication, and maintenance as well as for governable activities within engineeringProvide engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) adherence for all deliverables, and relevant input to project LCM activitiesProvide specialist technical input, review, and support into projects beyond the immediate scopeLeverage process and governance experience and knowledge in both the tactical and strategic development of other engineers and relevant members of other supporting functionsYour skills and experiences:Essential:Understanding of the relevant maritime legislation, industry and defence standardsKnowledge of the engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM)Expertise in governance processes and practices in the defence, maritime or closely linked industryExperience in Requirements Management and evidence gatheringDesirable:STEM related degree or previous experience in submarines, nuclear or other highly regulated environmentBenefits:You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
