We’re currently expanding our **Escalator Installation team** and have an exciting opportunity for a **Mechanical Engineer** to join us. If you’re mechanically minded, eager to learn, and ready to grow your career in a future-focused industry — we want to hear from youThis role is based in **Keighley**, with projects taking place **nationwide**.Key accountabilities:* Is responsible for safe, high quality, and timely installation of escalators following KONE installation methods* Is responsible for receiving, checking and storage of materials* Keeps the installation tooling safe and in good condition, is responsible for the safe working environment* Submits reports of timekeeping, quality feedback forms and warranty claims for material* Contributes to the ongoing improvement of the product by feedback to the supply line* Manages on-site communication with the customer for day to day installation and logistical activities* Communicates with the builder to prevent interruptions to installation work* May be required by the supervisor to give training/coaching to trainees and helpers.**What We’re Looking For:*** NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent* Strong customer service skills* Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices* Good written and spoken English* A clean UK driving licence (a KONE van will be provided)We offer a range of fantastic benefits to our Engineers including: * Excellent salary depending on experience* KONE van and fuel card , parking apps to cover business parking costs* Paid travel and overtime* Opportunity to complete NVQ3 in Escalators at KONE and become a qualified Escalator engineer* 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + 1 Volunteering Day* Company Pension Scheme* Employee Assistance Programme* Prolonged disability insurance (PDI)* KONE Healthcare plan, which includes unlimited GP video consultations, diagnosis, physiotherapy* KONE dental plan* Life Assurance* Gym membership* KONE Discounts and cashback platform* Service Awards for every 10 years of seniority* Give As You Earn, which allows to make tax-efficient charity donations* Cycle to Work SchemeIn addition, we offer strong and clear progression programmes with Engineers so that you can reach your full potential.
