About the role: As a Engineer 1 you will be responsible for the delivery of identified Mechanical Engineering deliverables across one or more projects. Delivering project requirements individually (under the supervision of a Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineer) or as a member of a multi-discipline team. You will report to the Manager, Process & Equipment Engineering and be located at Springfield. Key Responsibilities: Production of design solutions using AutoCAD / Inventor and associated drawings required for both design proposals and manufacturing details. Production of scoping calculations and basic FEA calculations Production of technical documents such as Basis of Design, Testing Strategies/Schedules, Method Statements etc. Participation in design meetings and technical reviews and presentation of technical solutions Undertake Plant / Site Surveys Qualifications: MEng preferred At least 1-2 year of experience on similar position Chartered Engineer/incorporated or working towards and engaged on a programme of Continual Professional Development. Working knowledge of standards, regulations, codes and directives and how they should be applied An appreciation and understanding of the Construction & Design Management Regulations. A good understanding of manufacturing codes/standards and familiarity of manufacturing techniques.
