The organisation is operated entirely by volunteers and provides a community lending library and related services. Role Description This is a volunteer, on‑site role for a Volunteer Librarian based in Sheffield. The candidate should be available on Wednesdays between 10 am – 1 pm. The Volunteer Librarian will assist in day‑to‑day library operations, including managing the lending system, organising resources, cataloguing new materials, maintaining a welcoming environment for the community, supporting library users, answering queries, educating patrons on library resources, and facilitating activities or programs that benefit the community. Qualifications Ability to work collaboratively with a team of volunteers and support community engagement efforts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the public effectively. Passion for education, reading, and community development is highly valued.
