Lead Small Works Engineer – PH Water & Air Technologies PH Water & Air Technologies is recruiting a Lead Small Works Engineer within their Water Hygiene/Water Treatment Division. You’ll need to be fully conversant with HSG274/ACOP L8 guidelines as your experience working within the Water Hygiene/Water Treatment sector will be fully utilised. You’ll work closely with colleagues on various sites in and around London, so if you reside no more than a two‑hour commute into London, this would be ideal. Salary: £28,000‑£32,000 per annum (depending on experience). Additional benefits include 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays), a company vehicle, a financial loyalty bonus, and other benefits. Overtime opportunities are available, potentially adding up to £12,000 per annum. Responsibilities Conduct visual inspections of water systems, including water sampling and analysis of closed systems using a site test kit. Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs). Carry out chemical dosing of water systems. Perform cleaning and disinfection of pipework systems, cold‑water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011. Qualifications Demonstrates mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and some plumbing experience. Positive attitude, enthusiasm for the company and role, and ability to work unsupervised while overcoming challenges. Confidently discusses technical issues and accurately records detailed engineer’s reports and logbooks. Capable of physical work (lifting, carrying, climbing) and holds a full UK driving license.
