OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the delivery of the specialist orthopaedic physiotherapy to patients, working within the acute adult and paediatric wards, as part of an inter-professional team.ResponsibilitiesParticipate as a leader and member of the team, managing a clinical caseload within the clinical standards, guidelines, objectives and procedures of the team.Lead service improvement and delivery within the trauma and orthopaedic physiotherapy service.Participate in health promotion and education of staff, patients and families.The post holder will undertake regular Continual Professional Development (CPD) to support their lifelong learning and map their CPD Portfolio activities.This role will require weekend and Bank Holiday working on a rota basis.BenefitsA wide range of staff benefits are available to our staff including staff development, enrolment in the NHS pension scheme, auto-enrolment to our Temporary Workforce Service, access to onsite nurseries, staff restaurants and accommodation.In addition to an internal Occupational Health department, all staff also have access to free psychological support through our confidential Employee Assistance Programme.
