Qualifications A willingness to learn and grow with the company The desire to build a career, skills, and experience Developing VOID into a more structured, procedure‑based practice A motivated, proactive, professional, and committed attitude The ability to collaborate Exceptional relationship and time management skills The ability to work both independently and as part of the team Enthusiasm, commitment, drive, and passion Excellent communication skills A resourceful, punctual, and highly organised nature Efficiency and professionalism Able to adapt and utilise all of VOID’s current systems and procedures, also the ability to review and advise where these could be changed or improved Key Accountabilities Working alongside, assisting, and taking instructions from the managing director, as well as the design team Efficiently meet tight deadlines while collaborating with others Attention to detail with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Professional demeanour with the capability to represent the practice externally to clients and referrers Managing our website and social media posting through our website co‑ordinator Must have a good understanding of practice, health and safety Must be able to advise on aspects of HR and duties, including annual staff member reviews and welfare meetings with the team Must be competent with the use of all Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel Undertaking general office administration duties, as follows: 1) General administration/office-associated duties 2) Collation of team timesheets and input into various accounts and company software 3) General filing 4) Assistance with the drafting of a fee proposal 5) First point of contact with the office, taking calls and filtering leads enquiries Must have basic accounts skills with Sage and Xero (we are likely merging to the latter, so this is a must), general duties as follows: Payroll; Raising Client Invoices; Bank Reconciliation; Overdue Client Statements; Paying Supplier Invoices; Data Input; VAT Returns; Updating leads enquiries software (Excel); Updating office overhead and forecasting software (Excel) Benefits Part‑time working hours to suit family culture Encouragement and support in further education and CPD training Workplace pension 25 days holiday to include Bank Holidays Travelling and expenses £32,000 to £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and preferred hours of working If you are passionate about a career in architecture and want to work in a friendly and supportive practice, please forward your CV, portfolio of work, if applicable, and covering letter to VOID Architecture Ltd, explaining why we would be a good fit for you.
