KS1 SEND Teacher – Full-time, 1-term contract starting January 2026 This is an excellent opportunity for a KS1 SEND Teacher to join a school that values inclusion and high-quality teaching. The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where pupils with special educational needs are encouraged to thrive academically and socially. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need. Duties as KS1 SEND Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS1 pupils with SEND, ensuring progress and inclusion Lead and manage a team of Teaching Assistants to support learning effectively Develop and implement personalised learning plans in collaboration with the SENCO Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and staff Create a positive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence Ensure safeguarding and well-being practices are consistently applied Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required Ideal KS1 SEND Teacher: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary setting Strong understanding of strategies to support diverse learning needs Proven ability to lead and manage support staff effectively Excellent organisational and communication skills Committed to promoting inclusion and safeguarding children #J-18808-Ljbffr
