HGV Class 1 Night Drivers Belfast At EVRi we lead the way in delivery, and always on the lookout for new talent We're market leaders and we invest to keep on growing.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.We aim to think inside and outside the box, striving to be the carrier of choice for every consumer in the UK.We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers (or Cat CE Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Belfast depot.Night shifts typically start at 02:00am What You'll Do: Our HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in the EVRi network.You'll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely, paperwork updated and assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time.We know the great British roads and weather don't always play nicely, so you'll need to keep us updated with any problems.We can then help find an alternative route.Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts.Full-time contracts are 40 hours per week with some weekends.Full time is 4 shifts on then 3 shifts off, rotas are given in advance.If this doesn't suit, reach out and let's have a chat about how we can hopefully offer you the hours that work for you What We Can Offer You: £22.00 per hour (£19.20 per hour plus £2.80 seasonal allowance) with an overtime rate of £28.80.In addition to our competitive salary, our full time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays), 3% contribution into your pension & life assurance.On top of this, we deliver a fantastic range of flexible benefits.Whether it's shopping vouchers, insurance or healthcare we offer some great perks tailored to you as an individual.Essential Skills & Experience Required: You'll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph.Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.· Excellent communication skills · A safety-first mindset · Reasonable physical fitness Feeling ambitious?
